Dan has spent his career in the dairy industry, developing various brands from cow to consumer. He has over 30 years’ experience managing large and small dairy farms, both nationally and internationally. His passion is leading innovation throughout the dairy supply chain.

Dedicated to the dairy industry Dan is passionate about reducing risk and improving safety on dairy farms throughout the country. He has led the development of training and third-party audits in worker safety, animal welfare, regenerative agriculture, and food safety. His experience working with Ag insurance at the farm and commercial level has given him knowledge about the needs, wants and risks associated with modern agriculture. Currently Dan is working as a Sr. Consultant for Nationwide Ag.

Dan served as CEO of Free-Range Dairy, an international grass based dairy farm based in New Zealand, Missouri, and Oregon. Previously he managed the launch of a2Milk Company a national milk brand covering retail in US and Canada. Dan owned and operated Prairieland Dairy, Prairieland Gold, and Prairieland Foods, vertically integrated farming companies marketing AG products regionally throughout the Midwest.

Dan and his wife live in Firth, Nebraska among their four grown children and grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys working on the farm
